So I usually prefer to decorating something it's annoying though.
Nowadays, Google customized home is really attractive to me
not only because of design but also gadgets.
This is my google home.
As you already know, you can apply this kind of pretty template to your google home
if you choose English as your language.
This template is available in case of English yet.
Top part has a search box and cute background which is changed by time.
It's already night as you can see moon in the background :)
It has tabs and I love that!
I can arrange many contents in each tab depends on its feature.
I have 4 tabs, Today, News, HCI and Personal now
You see "Today" tab above.
It is organized usual contents that I need during my work for example todo list, or note, wikipidia and weather.
I added interactive ponds with carps for my relax. They chase my mouse pointer and I can feed them by clicking. :D
News has news literally. :>
It includes column, article, rss feed from some blogs relating IT field.
HCI has some rss feed relating to Information visualization even though it has only 2 feeds yet..;
And one pretty content is added in this tab.
Can you see the right content with color?
That comes from http://www.colr.org/ and it provides random color scheme.
Above image is screenshot of homepage.
If I click "get random", then it produces random color scheme.
I can add tag like "Baby cheek pink" or "pale pink".
Or I can make my color edit current color and name it.
I can also pick the color from the picture.
It's really enjoyable and useful when I want to use scheme for my website.
Well..
Actually, I used www.start.com befor I use google home.
I loved the simple design of start.com.
But It is not so easy to add contents like google.
We can add contents just by clicking in the colloections in google home, but I should proceed 2 or 3 process to add contents in the start.com.
I don't like to add contents by searching.
Well...there are some more websites concerning managing my time and scheduling my work.
I'll add them in the near future :)
Ajax is really cool for me who likes simple function and design.
